This past January we celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary! It's hard to believe it's been that long!

 We were all very sick for a few weeks at the beginning on January.

 Thankfully everyone was feeling much better by the time Emma's birthday rolled around. She turned 7!

 We had a small family party with Uncle Marcus & Aunt McKenna...and lots of presents!

 I love that Emma is getting old enough to dress herself!

 A week or so after Emma's birthday the girls got a huge surprise...a puppy! We drove out to Coolidge, AZ to pick her up.

 She is so sweet and slept in between the girls for the whole drive home.

 We officially named her California Jager James! (Jager is hunter in German...she is a German Short-haired Pointer and destined to be Ben's hunting dog!)

 It didn't take long for Cali to work her way into our hearts...

 and our laps...

 and my bed...

 and apparently my new couch as well.

 The girls absolutely love her!

 One evening I enjoyed taking Charis and one of her good friends to see the Wizard of Oz live on stage at the Gammage.

 As cute as Cali is, she can be a little naughty.

 The weather has been so beautiful here that we decided to perk up the front yard and plant a few flowers.
